vanderlyle x Hamilton Russell Vineyards | 7pm September 19th

Join us for an exclusive evening at vanderlyle where we’ll be hosting the owner of Hamilton Russell Vineyards and presenting a menu designed to complement these exceptional South African wines.

Hamilton Russell Vineyards is one of the most southerly wine estates in Africa: founded in 1975, this family-owned winemaker pioneered viticulture in the beautiful, cool, coastal hills where they first established their estate, and they now specialise in creating terroir-driven Burgundian-style wines.

On September 19th Hamilton Russell Vineyards’ owner Anthony Hamilton Russell and independent wine merchant James Thorne will be hosting an evening at our restaurant, where they’ll be presenting five of the estate’s finest wines and sharing stories behind the creation of each cuvée. vanderlyle’s Alex Rushmer and the team will be introducing each of the courses and talking through the dishes that our team have created to complement the wines.

Tickets for this intimate and informal event are being limited to just twenty guests: your ticket will include six glasses of different wines, a multi-course vegetable-focused tasting menu and our team’s undivided attention throughout the evening.

Wines featured:

Southern Right Sauvignon Blanc 2022
Ashbourne Sandstone 2020
Hamilton Russell Estate Chardonnay 2021
Ashbourne Pinotage 2018
